PPOC urges PNP to hunt those behind Gov. Oaminal’s bombing attack

  OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental--Members of the Misamis Occidental Provincial Peace and Order Council urged the Philippine National Police to hunt those personalities possibly behind the bombing attack against Governor Henry Oaminal and his convoy on Oct. 13 last year. DepEd MisOcc backs provincial government’s peace programs

  The Misamis Occidental provincial government is highlighting the crucial role of the education sector in achieving peace and development in the province. Schools Division Superintendent in the Division of Misamis Occidental Renaldo Manuel Jr. said the province’s education department is backing the provincial government’s peace programs as well as other initiatives that promote law and order pushed under the administration of Governor Henry S. Oaminal. Manuel stressed the significant contributions of educators in achieving various peace endeavors, especially promoting a culture of peace among students and providing a haven for students for them to feel safe. Swine multiplier, techno demo farm project first in MisOcc

  CLARIN, Misamis Occidental--The provincial government vowed to address agricultural issues in Misamis Occidental.  This, as Governor Henry Oaminal, lauded the pioneering swine multiplier and techno demo farm project at Barangay Sebasi in the Municipality of Clarin in the province, which targets developing the swine industry and advancing farming methods in the area.  OIC Provincial Agriculture Office OIC Mercy Uy, on behalf of Gov. Oaminal, attended a ceremonial groundbreaking in the area on January 23. Uy was accompanied by Clarin Vice Mayor Ging Oaminal Delos Santos, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan also graced the occasion. Oaminal has been conducting surprise visits to several ongoing projects in the Misamis Occidental intending to continue to push a flourishing good governance in the province. He recently visited the ongoing establishment of the hemodialysis facility in the province that will soon operate at least 27 new state-of-the-art hemodialysis machines. The government wants to see that he is personally handling and monitoring the province’s projects to ensure they will benefit his constituents significantly. Governor Oaminal vowed to continue making positive changes that will benefit the community and help to create a brighter future for all the residents.     Governor Henry Oaminal presented a reward of P500,000 to Babylin Labastida, a 2nd Deputy squad leader of "Guerilla Front Sendong who courageously left behind a life of armed rebellion and chose to embrace a path of peace.(PGMO) The last members of the Communist group Guerrilla Front Sendong received rewards from Misamis Occidental Governor Henry S. Oaminal for choosing to renew his life and becoming a beacon of peace within the province.
